So, I’m thinking of employing the same principles as I did with the small shed built earlier this year.
Sole plates: 2” x 3” tantalised timber resting on 20-25 mm nylon blocks. These will be placed at various intervals and will raise the framework off the concrete slab.
Floating floor: 1200 gauge DPM on top of the concrete base with 2” x 3” tanalised timber framework resting on top. 18 mm OSB as the floor over the framework. As seen here...
I don’t see any potential flaws with this method, anybody care to comment?
