Bungalow was built 30 years ago, but we've got very bad problems with high suction walls ie when plastering it dries to quickly and cracks and lifts.
Old and blown plaster removed and any suspect areas chiselled off (hammer and cold chisel), 2 coats of PVA (50:50 mix), walls PVA'd again before plastering, it's drying so quick plasterer had to pva again before second coat.
Plasterer is using multi finish plaster.
Any suggestions as to how to seal the wall as pva doesn't seem to be any good.
