Ive been looking here for advice on which welder to buy and decided on a sealey supermig150
I set it up today and tried a few quick welds on some 1.2mm, i tried each power setting using around 8 on the wire speed, you'll probably need near full wire speed for the highest setting but looking at the duty cycles (100% @ 47A, 60% @ 60A, 20% @ 105A) its not built for heavy work, it doesnt say what the duty cycle is at 150A but it cant be much
Im a bit gutted i couldnt use the 15k reels from my old welder, i dont think the mini reel will last that long
Its not as good as my old einhell 165, it was a toss up between buying a new rectifier for the einhell or buying the sealy
Overall, its more than ample for patching my car up so for £215 im fairly happy with it
Does anyone know where to get a cheap rectifier for an sga165??
