Sealey Auto Helmet question

I have this helmet http://www.expresstools.co.uk/shopscr2713.html
But when i turn on any light to look at what im working on, it darkens, but i can look right at the sun? Even when i set sensitivity to low??
Any one any ideas?

Have you tried changing the sensitivity switch?

My tho cheapies will trigger from fluorescent lights if the sensitivity is on high.

yes, does it on high and low sensitivity
