This was my job for the day, filling a now redundant airbox hole in my Lambretta that's having a VW theme.
Ground the flared inside down, cut a piece of 1.6mm from a template and tacked in.
Run welds around taking my time. Filled a couple of holes using some copper as a heat sink.
Flap ground down and then used the biggest hole cutter ever.
Very pleased with the result. A big thank you to all the people on this site because everything I've done I learnt on here...
Now if anyone can tell me how to flare the hole I'll be VERY happy
