i want to run a new supply to my garage.
would i be correct in assuming i run a 32A supply to the garage, and distribute from there?
does the "house" end of the supply need a fuse/rcd, as well as in the garage consumer unit?
what parts would i need?
going from meter:
henley block(s)
isolator switch
rcd(?)
SWA cable to match (10m, so going for 10mm 3 core)
wall clips.
isolator + distribution unit >sockets, lights, 16A welder socket.
would that be about right?
I just want an idea of ballpark fittings cost, before i start asking for quotes.
pt.b
if i *just* have a 32a socket installed in the shed, I can put a 32a plug on the existing circuits and plug it in?
it's all individually isolated/fused. (but no RCD)
