Hi Folks
right, i need to bend one end of a piece of 50mm x 5mm by 400mm long with some sort of parts bender a bit like the clarke one they sell in MM. The only thing is i want to bend it around about 300 degrees so it meets the bar again, i.e creating a loop at one end (i am looking at a bend internal diametre of about 35mm. The thing is, the Clarke parts bender only appears to bend the metal 180 degrees, not all the way aroung to touch the flat again hence creating the required loop (also if i did manage to bend all the way around to make the loop how would i get it out of the parts bender without dismantling it as the flat would be fully looped around the die)? I know there must be a tool for the job, i just don't know what it is!
thanks, Neil
