I’ve got a little Snapper SR130 ride on mower, the grass collection bag has perished, today even the cable ties were no use

Where can I get a replacement grass bag and how do you remove it from the frame ?

have a look at netting.......it's anti UV rot......I'm sure ur clever enough to work out how to refit it....

There appear to be rusty bolts on the plastic lid, which also appears cracked. I would assume the bag is clamped between the plastic and frame underneath.

If your making the repair with other material/netting, you need to get the angle right.
My mum did a great job of repairing the old boys Mountfield grass collector but the angle of repair fed the cuttings back into the mower!

I never bother to collect the cuttings, I just let them spray.

Following with interest. I have a lawnflite that has a tired collector bag, it will need some repairs soon.

I've had a lot of success with fabric repair glue (basically contact latex adhesive) repairing coveralls and work clothes, so I'm wondering about getting some similar netting material and just layering patches in...

the bag fits on the tubular frame which slides into some slots under the plastic housing, I’ll get clearer pictures in the morning
