Sadly the gearbox in my Emcomat 7 Mill has given up life and shredded teeth on all of the gears
Now I need to find a replacement, fortunately I don't really need a Milling Machine now and I had been using the Emcomat more as a pillar drill so I can live with a full time Pillar Drill.
Unfortunately I don't have the time to find and Bid on an old better made machine so I am looking at buying new. I use my machines a lot as I am running a part time business fabricating Race/Rally car components. I regularly used the mill to run a 35mm hole saw through tube as well as drilling 10-12mm holes.
I have a little short list but as I have not seen any of them in the flesh I wanted to get some feedback or even recommendations.
There is this FOX Machine
https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/...ench-top-pillar-drill-230v?da=1&TC=SRC-pillar
This Clarke Machine
https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cdp301b-drill-press?da=1&TC=SRC-pillar#reviews
or this Axminster one
http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-hobby-series-ah1603dp-bench-drill-press
Any preference on which machine is the most reliable/accurate one?
Many thanks
Darren
