Having struggled with the sip for years (better once mods to wire feed and plastic liner replaced with steel) and prior to that a very old Clarke mig 100E (Wire feed was just awful). I am taking a cautious approach to my next welder.
What I am after is advice on what would be the best offering at this price point. The Clarke 135TE and 151TE look very attractive, but what are they actually like to use? Are the wire feed units on these welders improved on what I have been used to?
What other welder/s up to this price point would you recommend based on my proposed usage?
Note: Will be using hobby weld gas with the welder not disposable bottles.
Thanks John
