The machine works great, but the torch is a bit of a pain... it takes non-threaded electrodes, and I'm having to really work the electrode out of it's contact holder each time, and I feel like it will give up and just break the torch head, soon.
It's labelled up LT-50, and I've been buying spares from here:
https://www.weldequip.com/ifl-cut40-plasma-torch-parts.htm
But I can't work out if it's a standard trafimet CB50 type torch copy and if other non threaded spares will fit? ie. CB50 parts like these?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/C1518-PR00...t=&hvlocphy=9046728&hvtargid=pla-465791683134
I need some extended nozzles and electrodes but I don't want to spend money on the IFL specific ones if the torch is then going to break and I need to replace the head anyway, because then I would probably be better getting a new torch head now, and consumables to suit.
So really, the first thing to find out, is if the LT50 and CB50 torches are the same design... can anyone help?
