Repair to a mig torch

Water cooled job. MB501.

Took to spewing coolant out this afternoon. Quite some pressure in those pipes. Took the torch apart and there is a tiny split in a copper pipe inside the handle. Pipe is probably 6mm od.
If the pipe is cleaned up, will it solder ok? Lots of other gubbins in the toch that a blow torch will nicely ignite so i was thinking about using a soldering iron. Will this produce enough heat to melt the solder so it will pull into the split, or is the heat just going to disappear along the pipe?

if u use a large copper soldering iron heated by gas no problem with heat disipation small electric ones arent much cop

Anybody know what the proper name for the brass 'block' is called? Its the piece that the swan neck is screwed into with the two coolant pipes coming out of. Tis leaking
