What on . **Language** all thickness tubeBe a handy job with a stick , especially if your outside.
youve a decent bit of mig that has stuck that would make a good base , that what would get you going and make burning into the plate handy ,,, its the different thickness thats led to the problem . set up for thinner tube and not burned into the plate ,,, or thats how im seeing it , stick handles that easily enough. What on . **Language** all thickness tube
I always grind off the original weld, get back to original profile, even if it means building up where steel is missing/torn out,if necessary,on thin tube, run several beads.
Weave your new weld over it.I would think, for that particular job, you would be ok with 0.6.
No need to grind off the previous weld, just crank up the amps
and go over it.
Looks like an MDL powerup towable flail ….stick would be my choice with out a big mig. They are an awful design.Be a handy job with a stick , especially if your outside.
Looks like a mower , or something like that , and it looks like its been welded cold from day one ,, be wise to have a look round the rest of the machine as the same welder with the same settings probably welded all of it.
