Anyone tried hobbyweld before, its rent free bottles

OK - yes - hobbyweld. Bung the odd co and the odd uk around and Bob's yer auntie.

I'm not affiliated with them, and have never used them, but I'm probably going to go there when the bottle I got with my welder runs out.

Do to their own stupidity, Hobbyweld joined and decided they'd spam the forum (with multiple accounts iirc) to try and get some business so they were banned and their domain name blocked.
Daft eh? If only they'd had the brains to introduce themselves properly and help out they'd have been more than welcome on here and would probably have done ok out of it.

Spamming is an instant ban, no ifs, no buts but if companies want to join to advise members on products and it leads to a bit of business then we welcome them with open arms.

I did see that BOC have an offer on Argoshield Light - a bottle with 494 litres (50 minutes welding time) costs £19 a year to rent and £17 to fill with gas.

I keep hearing about the Volkszone deal, but for one thing I can't see a clear explanation of what the deal actually is, and for another it seems a bit hit and miss as to whether it's still available.
