Daughter and I are moving into a new house next week. Bungalow, 2 bed, single attached garage... which is a hell of a down turn compared to my current 5 x 6m garage... but anyway....
I had a structural survey done, at a silly price, and one thing mentioned is that the central heating thermostat is in the garage.
Why would that be, and how?
So, in case I need to, can anybody recommend a simple remote thermostat that I can put in the house to make things work normally.
My sister has one in her house, instructions to connect the signal are pitiful, she had to pay a plumber to come set it up as neither of us could work out how to do it.
I have a one in my current house, that is already set up, but reading the instructions to set heating timing is brain destroying, loosely translated from Japanese by a Korean coolie, by the look of it.
I still can’t believe the CH ‘stat is in the garage, surely the survey guy missed something, though he did include a picture of it in the survey.
