As per the title please chaps. Kitchen knives all fairly dull. I did have them professionally sharpened last year but ongoing use of a steel and of course, usage has them all out of whack again.
What I want is something that does 15 degrees consistently and along the full edge of the knife, including the point.
I have one of those kitchen devil electric ones which is rubbish. The fine slot doesn’t do anything noticeable, the medium slot butchers the steel edge and the coarse slot just grinds away even more metal without improving the edge one little bit.
Knives are a selection of Robert Welch, John Lewis and Victorinox if that makes a difference.
