Now that my new boot lid is ready and bad weather is forecast for a few days its time to look at the bodywork. It is in a bit of a mess beneath the rubber seals and a few other spots.
It will also give me a chance to paint the repairs I did when refurbishing beneath the bumper.
Damage from the old ill fitting soft top.
Bubbling round the off side wheel arch, I will cut this out.
This will be tricky to fix if it needs to be cut out as there is no access to the back side.
The captive nut broke off on this number plate mounting, sounds like time to buy a riv-nut tool finally.
This rubber seal is perished at the ends so will need to be replaced.
No questions yet but they will come soon.
