you can grind the tips a bit but the sides wear and you cant realy regrind the flutes 5 years ago I rang rawlplug up and they still had tons of the bits left stashed in the warehouse but they wouldn't sell me any as they hadn't the paperwork to be able 2 undoubtebly binned the lot

I was kind of fearful of that.
But I have enough 1/4" for a while. It was the other odd sizes I was hoping new life could be brought to them.

I wanted a new base for my old Sealy pillar drill as the original seller had dropped it just prior to me collecting it, so I got it for a greatly reduced price. I had the part number but they said it was no longer available. I quoted a different part number for a later model but which used the same base. It was in stock but they wouldn't sell it to me as i was going to use it on an obsolete drill and they didn't supply parts for bringing old stuff back to working!
I remember these, can you still get the fibre plugs , needed for complete authenticity in a period home!! Don't forget the slot head screws and tallow,
