Something I remember from many moons ago working with my dad at a steel framed building firm was the need to buy precision wound 15kg mig wire for the big old Kempi's. I remember there being all sorts of hassle when the boss went cheap and baught random wound stuff, the machine would go down every 10 minutes because of knotting problems as the wire came off the reel.
I'm assuming the faster the speed the more of a problem this is likely to be. In which case should I still aim for precision wound stuff for my little clarke 151EN? or can I get away with random?
Cheers!
