Hi,
I'm completely new to this and looking for some advice, so looking at the local shop here in the UK they sell small 90 amp gas/ no gas mig welders for about £150 (Clarke MIG102NG) and refils of the little gas kits for about £15 (110 litres) now the regs seem to be set at around 15-20l/min, so does the shielding gas only flow when you actually weld, as in if I run a 10cm weld and then let go of the trigger on the torch will it shut the gas off? or will it keep wasting that 110l at 20l a minute while ever its turned on?
Thanks
