Yesterday I was the recipient of a parcel from indy4x, vis
Which has, as you can see, a keyed switch preventing said 'students' from tampering. Not much use to me, especially as there was no key.
Out with the lock then, which is specific to the switch, the switch body clipping on to it. Also, there's a large double flat hole in the front panel so not easy to find a direct replacement.
After much deliberation about modifying the cylinder I thought it would be easier to make a new piece.
Now I need a knob. I found a piece of alloy round so ended up with this.
Et voila, all assembled and ready to use, for something, one of these days, whenever
