So bought this off market place last summer orginally as a donor for the panels for my 2T version, Got it for the pricely sum of £130 after being parked up for 13yrs with 3572Km on clock. Getting it home in the back of a Ford Focus had it running but took a time to get it running and forks were gubbed due to the chrome rusting. Intention was to MOT it and nip about on it as a standard 125.
However after messing about with it and trying to clear carb which didn't fix starting issue which later turned out to be a loose spark plug....doh. I ripped the engine out and it now sports a 210cc barrel with a 200cc head and camshaft, 200cc gearbox, Mechanical water pump removed and fitting an electrical water pump run off a relay from the ign wire, Will have upgrades to the clutch system with polini variator and a Malossi clutch with different springs over standard version and uprated CDi unit.and a performance pipe Wheels now powdercoated gold with a flake finsh, Currently got a 7 week old sprog thats stopping me getting some garage time on it hopefully finish it by spring.
Panel colours and tyres have perished due to sun fade
New legs fitted, I just refurbed the yoke by brushing off the flakey paint coouple coats of cheap black paint then couple of coats of clear varnish
Clutch cover and mag housing were flaking like this so now powdercoated
Hoping a fine wet/dry can restore the windscreen
