Thinking about gritblasting a chassis on the next sunny day. It's made from pressed steel so lots of seams.
What primer system would you go for? I'm thinking galvafroid (zinc rich primer) or similar which should stick perfectly well to a grit blasted surface, then seam sealer for the seams. But I'm a bit nervous about applying seam sealer over zinc paint. Has anyone tried this?
After primer I'm thinking anti-stone chip primer where necessary then 2 pack.
Not so worried about the price, just want to put off having to do the job again anytime soon. Would anyone do it differently?
