Some more questions this time regarding prepping before epoxy mastic.
So after subframe removal and taking it to the blasters I thought I'd make a start on the underneath. Theres a thick rubbery coating on most of it probably some kind of factory seam sealer. a real pita to remove. Quite a lot of this has failed and there is lots of pitted rust under it. I've used the grinder and drill to remove most of it then some phosphoric gel then more grinding then gel / grinder again.
How far do I need to go? Heres a photo of a small area done today I know this needs more work but how much more?
I havn't done any car related repairs before apart from maybe changing the oil now and then and I know I'm in pretty deep so any advice would be welcome
