Hi Everyone,
I've been reading this forum and getting tips for a few years but not had much to contribute :-) My old Clarke Hobby mig is now having serious wire feed issues - although I've already done a Euro torch conversion and some other messing about to improve it a bit, I'm thinking it's time to upgrade to a better machine.
After spending a while reading on here I know I want one of Technical Arc's machines, but looking at the website am I right in thinking that Technical Arc make their own name, Portamigs and Oxford machines as well?
Is there anything to choose from between those three brands, or any overall recommendation? I'm just after a single phase machine - one of the 200-amp ish machines for car restoration and general light fabrication projects.
Cheers,
Fatboy
