Hi guys, I've got an old BOC Transtig 180 which (as far as I know) is a single phase machine and I know was being run off a 16A single phase plug. Now.. I wanted to wire it to a 13A plug to test it in my workshop so I stripped the wire back and found 4 individual wires, as seen in the picture below.
View media item 8467I'm not sure exactly how to go about wiring this up to a 13A plug or if it can be done.
If it can be done I need to figure how to differentiate between live and neutral wires because 3 of the 4 wires are brown covered, whereas the earth is easily spottable.
I need to set this up as I'm getting rid of it soon as its taking up plenty of space in my workshop & need to show any protential buyers that the machine is working.
Any help appreciated, Regards, Tom.
