Everyone seems to talk about it for thin sheet stuff but what about on thick steel?
For example a piece of 6mm thick angle on top of piece of RSJ. Drill large say 20mm holes in the angle every say 6" or so. How strong would this be? Does it help to countersink the holes to form like a golf T of weld?
