    Seriously though it is a lovely looking old lathe - Lathes UK reckon they are even better than a DSG.

    They are an exceptionally good lathe and anyone looking for a serous lathe won’t find better

    No, but without all the forsale section rules, it would be utter chaos. In fact the forum probably wouldnt even be able to stand the strain and just cease to exist.

    I sold one of those last year. I only bought it to stop the you know what that inherited it scraping it.
    Exceptional build quality on a proper roller bearing headstock in the thirties on.
    Lang made their own precision bearings!
    Some say lang are superior to dsg
    And a equal to swift and im one of them
