Ordinarily I just use a rule and a bit of copper sheet to trim the laser film back from edges on stainless sheet.
I could do with a better solution as I'll be doing this a lot more from January, some sort of marking gauge with a blade that will trim the film back 50mm or so easily without scratching up the sheet...both on straights and curves and holes.
