Hi all just wondering if I can pick someone's brain on plasma cutting? I have a Volkswagen camper van come in that needs a serious amount of pannel replacement. I currently have a broken wrist so using an angle grinder is out of the question. A few years ago I used a plasma cutter for some chassis modifications I had to do. I was taught the basics by a mad Scotsman then left to it, I've wanted to buy one ever since!
But here is my question, when I am cutting out pannels on the Volkswagen what can I use to stop me cutting right through the inner pannel when I am cutting the outer pannel? I don't think there's much of an air gap between the two in places? Any help would be fantastic. The van has been completely stripped and shot blasted.
Many thanks
