Hi all..
Newbie here, did some arc welding many moons ago and now have a project that needs some more..
So.. Bought a Pickhill Bantom last week, just fired it up and although it produces a spark, it is a very small one.. My son makes more with a sparkler on bonfire night..
Turning up the current knob does not seem to do much, and it was very stiff before I got some wd40 on it..
Am guessing this thing needs a bit of work, so thought I would sign up to this forum (have been following it for a wee while now) and see if any of you lords of welding can give me a pointer or two, before I go at it with my biggest hammer.. :-)
