A complete strip down and restoration of a perfecto NO2 hand shaper...I am sure there is a couple of people that will recognise it.....
They are great little machines. This one I restored now belongs to a forum member. The tool I used is a lathe tool I had kicking about. A proper tool would be a lot betterloverly clean up compared to what it was
I like them for there uses when needed
many can be adapted up so they become motorised even yours can be done the same instead of by hand
At some point I will find another one...bigger one.if you look for [14-12-10]
someone motorised a hand planer

I already have an alba 10 shaper. I would like the bigger bench mount one. There was a nice one on ebay a few weeks ago.@spencer 427 your wish could be answered ..advert shortly

Ain't got a clue and wasn't sticking to original colour. The main idea here was to restore it on a very tight budget and use what I had to hand. There was some bsf half nuts that have been replaced and some 3/16 bsf grub screws.Missed the earlier post with the web address, question is should it be light blue hammer paint or light green hammer paint, mine is light blue.
