Hello all,
I'm about to tackle a rusty sill and I need some advice. The hole is in the centre of the outer section and I want to get as flat a result as possible. Should I use one of those 'joggler' tools to create a step and then let the patch into it with a lap weld? If not, how do I do a butt weld without being able to clamp the panel (no access from behind)?
Another question: The car in question is an old Porsch 944 which was, allegedly, galvanised (you wouldn't know it.....). Is there any special preparation required?
Many Thanks,
Brian
