Hi All,
I am considering in getting an inverter to learn TIG. I have often used stick (old oil cooled welder) and have a mig for bodywork. However I would like to learn TIG. It really for bits of stainless and the odd time when I want that neater weld.
I spotted this on special offer

I know its only scratch start and DC only but I wont be doing that much work with it to justify something more expensive.
What to ye think of the above? Would it be good to learn on or should I forget it until I can afford something better?
I live in Ireland so there is not the same supply of used machines so will probably have to buy something new.
