Hey guys,
just joined this forum recently, great resource and a helpfull bunch of members
i'm looking for some info on the Parweld XTM201i.
I'm wanting to do some light fabricating i.e. industrial looking furniture so mainly 1-4mm square/rectangle tube, pipe, strip, plate etcetera. No real heavy stuff.
I am an absolute beginner and would like to learn MIGwelding. I reduced my welder-shortlist to either the Parweld XTC171C or the XTM201i. I need a machine which i can buy here in The Netherlands.
I'm really liking the portabilty of the XTM and the fact it can MMA and lift-TIG. The 171C on the other hand is a transformer based welder (more simple) where-as the 201i is an inverter.
Not that easy of a choice.

My questions about the XTM201i:
Has anyone already any hands-on experience with this welder? I could not find any info on it here on the forum. The XTE171c is a pretty popular machine (and so is the Parweld brand) on here so i was hoping to read some more about the XTM. It is only 50 quid above the 160i so i'd like the extra oomphh of the 201i.
Anybody already welding with the XTM201i? Good bit of kit?
Best regards,
Maarten
