    Hi guys.
Had my XTE 171C for 2 years now but the wire feed motor has just stopped. The welder fan is still running and the solenoid is clicking but no wire motor. Any ideas what or where to start.

The motor is probably 24v DC, so you could start by disconnecting the motor wires and checking it on a 12v battery, which should be enough to make it run slowly. Depending on the result, the next step would be to suspect a failed motor driver transistor on the PCB.
