Finally got my gas and it's a side valve, the reg I got with the MIG is a top fixing one, I did want to fit one of those floating ball type (visual) things but I'm guessing I need the gauges upright for that, so question is Is there an adaptor to bring the gauges upright or do I have to swop it for a side fitting unit?,
I have fitted and connected up everything and am guessing it's ok to use with the gauges sideways?
PTFE used on all threaded fitting, (I'm an old Plumber)
On another note has anyone in my area (Havant) used the Adams gas stockist in Hayling Island? I was surprised, I was expecting a shop but after getting to where the sat nav took us it was a bungalow! I'm guessing the guy has a store someplace as I cant see him being allowed to store flammable gasses there, anyway got a 20lt bottle, heavy bugger and will prob outlive me. thanks, Ian
