Hi Everyone,
I'm painting the engine bay on my rally car, having welded in a new front panel after an accident.
Yesterday I sprayed the under-bonnet area with aerosol 2k epoxy primer from Jawel paints.
(This product: https://www.jawel.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4108)
Today I tried to apply the top-coat from a colour-matched aerosol from paints4u - a type I've used lots before with great results, and found to be very forgiving.

Almost immediately I'd sprayed, the top coat had some kind of reaction and wrinkled up, as you can see from the pictures.

I had left the epoxy primer to cure overnight, and it showed no signs of still being remotely tacky.
Any ideas what's caused this? From a quick scan of various forums, I wonder whether I should have left the primer to go off for a bit longer. Thought the reaction didn't happen all-over, as the second picture shows.
I'm obviously going to have to sand it back and start again, but would like to avoid the same thing happening! Thanks for any advice
cheers
James
