Please help, I've just bought a oxy Propane set up. I have the oxygen set at 2.1 bar and a 3/64 nozzle for cutting 10mm steel. The propane regulator has no gauge and no one in my town has one with a gauge. It's very inaccurate. I found somewhere the propane needed to be 0.2 bar so I put it to 0.2 by holding an old air gauge to it. It wasn't enough pressure to keep the torch going, it just died out. So we upped the pressure till the torch was able to keep going and then tried to get a neutral flame. Sort of got it (I think).
Cut a small bit of the side and lovely straight lines down. But when I tried longer cuts and circles it all burned together and melted more than cut and stopped cutting in the middle a couple of times so had to stop and start again. You can see the hand moving on the oxygen tank, is that excessive.
