Hi,
Im new to mig welding but in the corner of my garage has been a migatronic automig 250mxe.
I have dusted off the welder which is probably 25 years old, new 0.6 mm wire, new torch, new gas.
I then had a go...… I watched the videos etc but the biggest problem was knowing what settings to set the welder at......I had maggots crawling along the steel towards the big hole a blew few moments earlier.
IF anyone out there has a settings manual for my aged MIg I would be most grateful.- I want to weld up a classic car so 1 - 1.2 mm steel I reckon.
………….another question - the new bread of mig's - are they easier to use ??
thanks in advance
Grant
