So it would appear my welder is now officially broken. I have an IFA smartmig 130. It's never really given me any trouble but now I need to do a repair.
Here's the end of my wire feed below. Crimping the large wire back on is no problem. I can have that done by a friend. (It broke off and appears to have caused all the carnage) Is there anything I can do with it though? Does the piece come out of the middle? When the wire broke off the welding wire fused to the wire feed line and basically melted it and stretched it out.
Should I even take the opportunity to upgrade it or change to a euro torch?
