When my kitchen was installed, they cut into the concrete wall behind the new cabinets, to move the pipes back a couple of inches. Unfortunately, now whenever my neighbour’s washing machine is running, the pipes bang (her mains pipe appears to route through my house, to hers).
The bit doing the banging is behind the big double pull out cabinets, so access is extremely limited. I have read of people using expanding foam in similar situations, but wanted to ask the fonts of all knowledge before I embark on something ‘silly’.
