Evening one and all. It's been a while since I stuck my head over the parapet but I have a question for y'all.
My car has a puncture and, due to the location of the offending wood screw and it having silly run-flats, a repair is not possible. So I'm looking at a replacement. My question is this: should I replace just the knackered tyre or the pair?
It is one of the front tyres that has gone and the car is rear wheel drive. The tyres have a reasonable level of tread remaining but a certainly not new (the car's done 40-odd thousand miles, 12 or so of them by me and, to my knowledge, they are the originals). Oh, and the front and rear tyres are different sizes so there's no potential for jiggery-pokery there either!
Any advice greatly appreciated. My wallet's feeling sore already.
