SteScouse Member Messages 560 Location Liverpool Aug 30, 2019 #14 I'm self taught and to be honest no big threat to world of welding, but really enjoy time i get to weld, especially stick Read an "Arc" forum i cant find now day or two ago. Lad on there advised run 2.5mm at 90-95 amps, said.... Wont be a peeler but will be solid ( for want of memory ) Did just that, slag wouldn't budge. Grrrr. Hit it with wire brush in a drill.... Lovely weld, cheers mate, whoever you are, will find thread again I'm sure
