Have you got kit to get it out the place or will they do that. Seen some struggling getting machines our a workshop at the last industrial auction

They can load it with a stacker. Getting a reat faff this now. Either folk cant do it. To far or won't prep it for loading.

Those are heavy machines and a real pain in **** to move in and out of workshop areas.

I moved my 1st bridgeport in my ifor williams BV85 combo door trailer. Never, Never again, unloading was a nightmare.

If that arm and head comes off we could ship it as 2x pallets.

You have to watch the capacity on the small HIABs. Any reach at all the payload drops massively .
A 4 ton HIAB wouldn't lift a Bridgeport much more than 6ft from the bed. For a big mill you need a 6 or 8 ton hiab at least.

Good point. Now you mention it, it has a 1000kg limit so might not be any good.
That's not to say he would always use the crane though, but may be an expensive hire if you don't even need all his abilities. It's alot just for a guy with a flatbed.

you would need one hell of a good trailer for that , plus dismantle head etc first , I would say minimum would be 7.5 ton truck with big hiab, even then it would be touch and go. @fizzy on two pallets would be the way to go

I bought a Victoria U2 mill (similar weight to the Bridgeport) from County Durham and towed it to Stockport on a large flatbed trailer. Not a pleasurable experience at all!
