Hi to all,
Just noticed a bit of wear creeping in on my lathe top slide. Not surprising considering its age.
The slide has four adjusting screws along it's length to take up wear. I have had a go at adjusting the screws & despite only applying a delicate nip on them the slide is now very tight to move albeit the slackness has gone.
I bought the lathe second hand so have never had the benefit of a manual for it, are there any other Myford users out there who experienced the same problem & is there a special procedure for adjusting the screws?
