I know there's a few on here who are a bit handy with lathes and I'm hoping someone has rebuilt the headstock on an ML7.
The short story is the headstock drive cone has now got a slip fit with the back gear cog that's pressed into it. I'd like to strip down the spindle and treat the joint to some Loctite 638 to give me my drive back again.
The spindle is out but I can't shift the end cog, short of finding someone with a press, is there a workaround for this?
