Has anyone used a Myford Mini-kop hydraulic copying lathe? (Specifically the early model, which is a super 7 with a wider bed), or a Britan Repetition lathe?
I am after some opinions and experiences of using them.
I am looking at getting one for small production runs, and believe the machines have a small footprint. I would like to know your opinion on the usefullness/ suitability of the Britan. How easy are they to setup and use to replicate parts? How versatile are they, as they appear to have only a small capacity?
What fittings have you on your machine, such as Auto-lock/ bar feed, etc, and what fittings would you say are preferable/ essential?
What sort of parts do you make with the Britan? Any advice/ opinions on the machine would be appreciated.
