Made largely from scraps a local fabrication company gave the school a couple of years ago, alas the large square section is too large for us to cut or do anything with so I found a use for a few bits at home.
Comments and criticism welcome; I know there was absolutely no need to grind every exterior surface but what the hell... Welder is a Parweld XM182i from WSD - great support, advice, help and a cracking deal too. Never welded with shielding gas before!
Haven't got a 16A supply sorted yet so I was limited to 150A or so - I'm aware that some of the welds on the thicker 6mm section are more concave than convex. First use of the Lidl welding magnets, too. I've learned loads from making it, only blinded myself once (forgot to put mask on...) and burnt one finger.
Will get it lit later in the day once I've popped out for appropriate accompanying soft drinks...
