my welder does not work.
when i turn it on the only sign of life is the fan. no wire feed gas or arc. anyone got any suggestions as to where to start.

The first things I'd look for is a blown fuse inside, faulty trigger switch or bad/broken connection between the torch and the unit.

First thing I do is short the euroconnector contacts on the weldset (usually with a bent piece of welding wire), instantly proves it's the set or harness at fault.
